I'm happiest when immersed in the process of creating images - both still and moving. I enjoy each step of production from start to finish and overcoming the unique challenges that each project inherently demands.
Somehow I always knew I wanted to be a filmmaker - I credit Darth Vader, Han Solo, R2 and the rest of the crew for inspiring me way back when I was biting ankles. After getting my feet wet as an undergrad with some very small (and very terrible) video projects, I decided I needed a more formal film education - I set my sights on the University of Southern California. While working on my masters in Film Production at SC, I started taking photographs - photography became a natural compliment to the moving images I was creating and I found myself enjoying both mediums equally.
I've recently moved back to my hometown of richmond VA to focus my attentions on writing and directing feature films.
